Only three Kent clubs made it through the FA Cup preliminary round on Saturday. Four will be involved in replays on Tuesday night but 10 others crashed out on a disappointing weekend for the county.

In the all-Kent clash at Park View Road, Chatham Town thrashed local rivals Erith & Belvedere 5-0. They will host East Preston in the next round.

A stoppage-time equaliser from Danny Walder kept Herne Bay in the competition as they drew 2-2 at Eastbourne United. Walder had earlier put Bay in front from the penalty spot.
Folkestone Invicta were twice in front against Molesey at the Fullicks Stadium but they, too, face a replay after the visitors came back to earn a 3-3 draw. Stuart King, Frankie Chappell and Johan Ter Horst scored Folkestone's goals.
It was a tale of woe for the rest of the county's clubs. Hythe Town lost 2-1 at Three Bridges and also had Pat Kingwell sent-off, while Ramsgate were beaten 1-0 at Hastings.
A first defeat of the season sent VCD Athletic tumbling out of the cup. Peter Smith scored for the Vickers but they lost 3-1 at home to Burgess Hill Town.
