Delroy Facey will return to Gillingham on Monday and attempt to resurrect his career at Priesfield.
Striker Facey has spent several weeks considering his future and spoke to two League 2 sides, but after failing to negotiate a settlement with Gillingham chairman Paul Scally, he will return and fight it out for a place in Mark Stimson’s side.
"He’ll come back on Monday and compete for a place up front," said Stimson.
"He’s a couple of weeks behind people because he hasn’t been training. We’ve got a couple of games this week and we’ve got a training game on Tuesday and he’ll certainly be playing."
