Bromley's Blue Square South campaign in disappointment on Saturday as they went down to a narrow defeat to Dorchester at Hayes Lane.

The decisive moment came on 63 minutes when the impressive Ivan Forbes latched onto a long ball forward and cleverly lobbed Gareth Williams in the Lillywhites' goal.

The match was something of an anti-climax for the home side, who began the day with an outside chance of grabbing the final play-off place in the division.

The closest they came to an equaliser was Danny Hockton's late effort that struck a post, while Omari Coleman had a goal chalked off for pushing.

Bromley's day was summed up when player-manager Simon Osborn was sent from the dugout for something he said to the referee.
