GILLINGHAM are in line to receive a cash windfall of £800,000 as part of a £30 million rescue package for all Nationwide League clubs.
The package has been funded by the Football Association with contributions from the Premier League and the Professional Footballers' Association.
Around 80 per cent of the money will go to Division 1 clubs. In return, clubs must agree to a salary cap.
Clubs most be financially solvent and those such as Leicester, who have applied to go into administration, will not benefit.
