Ebbsfleet have revealed they need to raise an extra £25,000 per month next season to keep the "playing squad competitive".
On the back of last weekend's FA Trophy defeat, the club's myfootballclub owners released a detailed statement outlining the Fleet's financial future.
The statement added that without additional and ongoing funding, the club faces a tough 2009-10 campaign.
The statement said: "Our strategy must be two-fold. Keeping costs to an absolute minimum while raising extra funding to ensure the best possible Ebbsfleet team takes the pitch every week.
"From April 1, a number of cost-cutting measures will take place with club CEO David Davis working on a voluntary basis.
"A further saving has been made thanks to the generosity of Fleet Group Development (FGD) which is contracted to the club to deliver a new stadium.
"FGD have agreed to work for free on behalf of the club, which could mean a saving of up to £40,000 per year."
Ebbsfleet also confirmed that the Fleet Trust will contribute a monthly sum and the club’s former directors have also agreed to give them £300 each month.
