Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish was pleased with a point after his side came from behind to secure a draw against Cambridge in Blue Square Premier on Tuesday.

Lee McEvilly gave the visitors the lead in first half injury-time before Luke Moore levelled with his fourth goal of the season after the break.

Daish said: “After what happened on Saturday and then going behind in the last seconds of the first half, I was delighted with the lads’ character and how they handled it.

“We went all out to win and I can’t ask any more of the players.”

The visitors took the lead against the run of play when Willmott’s corner evaded everyone except McEvilly, who slotted home at the back post.

In the second half, the Fleet continued to push forward and deservedly pulled level on 52 minutes when Neil Barrett squared to Moore, who fired home from six yards.
