Thick fog meant the Gills' clash with Luton had to be postponed

GILLINGHAM'S League One clash on Tuesday against Luton at Priestfield Stadium was postponed because of fog.

Referee Russell Booth called off the game at 6.30pm and manager Mark Stimson admitted: "The fog was getting too thick and there were even reports that it was to get even thicker around half-time.

"It was probably best to call the game off before it started.

"It is disappointing because the boys were up for it and ready for the game."
