GILLINGHAM'S players could become involved in a national strike. The Professional Footballers' Association, the players union, are recommending strike action to their members because of a row over television money.
The PFA have been offered less money than last year by Premiership and Football League bosses even though television revenues have increased.
Every English player will be asked to vote next week on individual action which would black out television.
Gordon Taylor, the PFA's chief executive, said: "I have to say that the offer we have received is an insult."
