Welling v Hampton & Richmond
WELLING boss Andy Ford has called on his team to stop giving away silly goals ahead of Hampton's visit on Saturday.
The Wings continued their habit of conceding early on Wednesday night in the 2-1 defeat to Newport at Park View Road.
Hampton, who are third, come to Park View Road on the back of mixed form but Ford is keen for Welling to give themselves a chance of victory.
Ford said: "I'd love to come in at half-time either 0-0 or a goal in front.
"We need to stop making individual errors and giving goals away.
"We are being punished by them at the moment but if we can get a goal ahead then I think we'll see a different team and it will really lift the players."
Ford could draft former Weymouth youngster Callum Crawley, who can play in midfield or at right-back, into his squad for the match.
