Margate v Boreham Wood
Terry Yorath believes Margate's home form will be crucial if they are to win their battle against relegation from the Ryman League, Premier Division.
The Gate have won their last two home matches, against Ashford (Middlesex) and Tooting and Mitcham, and will bid for a hat-trick against Boreham Wood this weekend.
Last weekend they dug in for a 1-1 draw against Hastings and Yorath says they will need to show the same work ethic in their remaining matches.
He said: “We started well at Hastings, took the lead, but then we started conceding too many free-kicks around our box.
“That’s what undid us in the end, but I was impressed with the way we stuck together and worked for each other.
“That’s important for our chances of survival. If we can do that and continue to win our home games then we stand a chance.”
New signing Aaron Lacy should continue in defence this weekend as injuries force the manager’s hand. Ryan Peters returns from a ban but Curtis Robinson is suspended for the next two games.
