KEN FORSHEE has played his final game for the Invicta Dynamos having announced his retirement.
Forshee, who iced for the Dynamos against Haringey Greyhounds on Sunday, told their coach Kevin Parrish of his decision a couple of weeks ago.
However, he said he would not leave until a replacement was found.
Forshee, who has scored 26 goals and recorded 34 assists in 25 games this season, said: "I have really enjoyed my time at Invicta.
"But the travelling to and from Swindon along with a few personal issues means I cannot commit 100 per cent to the club and that's not fair on them.
"However, I will be staying on the club's books and if needed at anytime this season will gladly help out."
Parrish said he understood Forshee's reasons and appreciated the way he had handled the matter.
"Ken has brought a lot of experience to the club," said Parrish.
"I have spent the last two weeks searching for non-EIHA trained player.
"Hopefully, if the paperwork is in place, he will be able to play next Sunday and I will let everyone have all the details as soon as he has registered for the club."
