CHARLTON are offering free Valley Express coach travel to their first Saturday Premiership home match of the season against Bolton on August 26.

The Addicks are hoping the offer will appeal to parents and youngsters enjoying the school summer holidays.

Coupled with the club’s ticket pricing structure, it means anyone who is 17 or under can travel to The Valley from anywhere in Kent for just £5.

Adult ticket pricing for the game is £20 while over 60s and under-21s pay just £10. Both rates include travel, if required.

Valley Express organiser Rick Everett said: "We had a lot of success in bringing school groups last season and with the Bolton game taking place during the holidays we hope many youngsters will take the opportunity to introduce their parents to the service too."

Tickets and travel bookings for the match are now open on 0871 226 1905.

Launched two years ago, Valley Express will servce 61 different locations this season, with Sheppey becoming the latest addition thanks to the recently opened £70million road bridge.

The club is again offering a Valley Express season pass to fans who wish to secure their coach seats to every Premiership match, priced at £85.

It is also offering group rates of £15 a head for 11 of the 19 home matches and £20 for two others. These are open to schools and junior football teams and limited to 2,000 places in the three home stands at The Valley for each match.
