GILLINGHAM'S teenage striker Luke Freeman is expected to complete his transfer to Arsenal by the end of the week
Gills chairman Paul Scally is putting the finishing touches to the deal which is expect to earn the club around £200,000.
Freeman, who became the youngest player ever to appear for Gillingham when he played against Barnet in November, chose the Gunners ahead of Newcastle and West Ham.
"The paperwork is being done and we should hopefully be tying everything up in the next day or two," said Gills manager Mark Stimson.
Freeman, who progressed through the club's centre of excellence programme, made three substitute appearances for the first team.
