Gillingham defender Barry Fuller won’t need much of an incentive to beat Exeter on Saturday as his last visit continues to linger in the memory.
Fuller was part of the Stevenage side thrashed 4-0 in last season’s FA Cup as the club struggled in the wake of Mark Stimson’s exit.
"In the last few times I’ve been there I don’t think I’ve won," said the Gills right-back.
"There with a few draws and a loss so I think we’re due one.
"I came off injured in that FA Cup game after about half an hour, having stitches if I remember rightly. I don’t really want to remember that one!
"It’s a tough place to go and the fans there are good for them."
Fuller though is sure the time is right to enjoy a bit of success at Exeter.
"They’re not a bad footballing side but I think we’ve got too much for them," he said.
