Gillingham captain Barry Fuller gave his team-mates the perfect boost on Thursday morning by returning to training.

Fuller took part in the session at the club’s Beechings Cross training ground having been sidelined for nearly three weeks after suffering from pneumonia.

The 24-year-old has been one of Gillingham’s most consistent performers and boss Mark Stimson will hope to have him available for selection soon.
