MARGATE FC have been set a new deadline of May 31 to prove that the Hartsdown Park re-development will be ready to stage Conference football next season.

CNC Properties and Channel and Hotel Properties Ltd have been named as being behind the £11m project.

The club have also sought permission from the Conference to extend their ground-share arrangement with Dover for another year.

A decision has to be made before the Conference AGM takes place on June 5.
