Boreham Wood v Margate
Ryan Peters is Margate's main injury worry as they face Boreham Wood in a re-arranged Ryman League Premier Division game at Meadow Park tonight.
The former Brentford player picked up a knock in the 2-0 defeat against Horsham at Worthing on Saturday and may need a fitness test.
Jack Parkinson has ended his loan spell at the club and returned to Welling. The former VCD midfielder had been on a three-month stay at Hartsdown Park.
Off the pitch, a series of meetings this week regarding the proposed redevelopment of Hartsdown Park could prove key after the club announced last week they were seeking to apply for a Company Voluntary Agreement. They involve the proposed operator, Thanet District Council and the developer with the club still hoping to get the go-ahead to start work in early March.
They have until a fortnight on Wednesday to pay an outstanding tax bill to HM Revenue and Customs, but if the CVA is granted Margate would immediately be docked 10 points. The Ryman League Board of Directors are likely to discuss the matter at their next board meeting the following day.
Meanwhile, the search for a replacement for Barry Ashby seems to have been put on hold. Chairman Keith Piper said: "There are more pressing issues than looking for a new manager."
