Margate v Hendon

Margate boss Barry Ashby takes charge of his first FA Trophy tie when they face homeless Hendon in the first qualifying round at Hartsdown Park on Saturday and could keep the same side that won at Dartford last week.

Goalkeeper Scott Chalmers-Stevens had a run-out in the reserves in midweek, after recovering from a thumb injury, while Pat Mullin is due to resume training after breaking his fifth metatarsal.

The North London club put their ground problems behind them with a 7-0 thrashing of fellow Ryman League Premier Division strugglers Harrow Borough in midweek.

One of the most famous names in non-league football, Hendon have been forced to ground-share at Harrow Borough and Northwood, after the owners closed their Claremont Road ground, their home for more than 80 years.
