Gate walk all over bottom side

Northwich Victoria 0 Margate 3

MARGATE secured their second successive victory in the Nationwide Conference with a convincing win away to bottom club Northwich on Saturday.

A first-half strike from Darren Watson put them ahead before goals from Jean-Michel Sigere and Adrian Clarke after the break clinched the points.

Manager Chris Kinnear was delighted with the win which lifted them up to 16th, seven points above the bottom three.

He said: "To be be fair, Nothwich are not the worst side I've ever seen but we started quite well and, even when we went through a bad patch, we dug in and could have won by more."
