MARGATE midfielder Terry McFlynn looks almost certain to be transferred to Morecambe, the Kent club has announced.

Gate chairman Jim Parmenter said: "Morecambe were very keen on signing Terry and he wanted the chance to train full time.

"We are particularly strong in midfield in terms of the number of players who can play there and the move makes sense for all parties.

"I am still waiting for written confirmation from Morecambe, but the deal is subject to a medical and will involve a sell-on clause in addition to the fee."
