Gillingham shared a 0-0 draw with Reading in a game of few chances at Priestfield.

Reading thought they had won the game nine minutes from time when winger Glen Little headed home a Nicky Shorey cross.

But referee Steve Bennett disallowed the goal because of a push by Little on John Hills.

The Gills' best chance of the game came when a speculative free kick by Nicky Southall was caught by the wind and just went over the crossbar.
