Gillingham completed a league double over Bradford City with a comfortable 1-0 victory at Priestfield on Easter Monday.

After some poor performances recently, the Gills players were keen to get a positive result as they dominated from start to finish.

Danny Spiller and Nyron Nosworthy, who was playing as a makeshift striker, both went close to scoring in the early exchanges.

However, the home side broke the deadlock on 29 minutes when Paul Shaw controlled and shot from close range to register his 13th goal of the campaign.

Gills continued to create chances for the rest of the half and at the start of the second period, when Mamady Sidibe crashed a left foot shot against the cross bar.

However, after Claus Jorgensen hit the post for Bradford on 65 minutes, the hosts decided to play out time as they picked up three more points.
