A trio of players are leaving Gillingham after rejecting new deals.
Connor Ogilvie, Jack Bonham and Jordan Graham have all turned down new offers after their current contracts expired. Striker Dominic Samuel is also leaving the club.
The club have additionally made striker John Akinde and defender Christian Maghoma available for transfer.
Leaving the club without a new offer being made are Sacha Bastien, Tyreke Johnson and Matty Willock.
Alex MacDonald and vice captain Stuart O’Keefe have agreed new deals and will remain along with eight other contracted players.
Captain Kyle Dempsey, Ryan Jackson, Robbie McKenzie, Vadaine Oliver, Jack Tucker, Harvey Lintott, Gerald Sithole and Henry Woods are all still on contract.
Fans would have hoped the likes of Bonham, Graham, Ogilvie and Samuel could have stayed. Striker Samuel suffered a serious injury last season and only played a handful of games on his return.
But the other three were virtual ever-presents under Evans and losing them will be a blow to him. He will hope captain Dempsey and striker Oliver will stay - two of the top performers this season - but the pair are sure to attract interest in the summer.
Willock, 24, joined the Gills two summers ago but injuries hampered his first season and he’s never managed to make an impact despite high hopes when he signed, the club saying they fought off heavy competition to get him to join the club.
He leaves having made just three starts in League 1 over the last two seasons and another 15 appearances from the bench.
The former Manchester United youngster is one of three brothers playing professionally. Younger sibling Joe is on loan at Newcastle United from Arsenal while Chris, 23, plays for QPR.
Frenchman Bastien joined as back-up for first choice keeper Jack Bonham after Joe Walsh joined QPR in January.
Forward Johnson also joined in the mid-season window but struggled to get any meaningful action. The former Southampton player made just one league start and six off the bench for the Gills.
Maghoma joined in the summer and was initially a regular starter, named in Steve Evans’ first six teams in all competitions, but he soon fell out of favour. His last league appearance was in a 1-0 defeat at Ipswich Town at the end of October. He has played just four league games for the club.
The club said: “To those individual players moving on to pastures new we wish you every success for the future. For those remaining at the football club we look forward to seeing you on your return in pre-season.”
Players are expected to be back at the end of June.
