GILLINGHAM have completed the signing of central defender Efe Sodje on a two-year deal.

The 34-year-old made 36 appearances for Southend in the Championship last season and has more than 300 league games under his belt.

His former clubs include Crewe, Huddersfield, Yeovil, Macclesfield, Luton and Colchester. Sodje has also earned nine international caps for Nigeria.
