GILLINGHAM'S Andrew Crofts and Charlton's Darren Ambrose both scored for their respective Under-21 international sides on Tuesday.
Crofts, who won his fourth cap for Wales Under-21s, opened the scoring in a 3-1 win over Malta in Llanelli.
And Ambrose helped to erase the disappointment of being sent off in his Premiership debut for the Addicks at Sunderland on Saturday by scoring a last minute winner for England Under-21s in a 1-0 friendly victory over Denmark.
It was the young midfielder's first international goal.
Meanwhile, the full England side are in friendly action against Denmark in Copenhagen tonight.
New Charlton striker Darren Bent, who enjoyed such an impressive debut at the weekend, will be hoping to win his first cap.
