Gillingham fans will find out their 2008/09 fixtures on Monday.

The Premier League and Football League will release their lists in the morning.

Gillingham know they will have long trips north to Accrington, Darlington and Grimsby but also shorter trips to Barnet, Brentford and Dagenham.

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson said: "We’ll look forward to the fixtures and see when we play the local teams and where we are at the beginning and at the end of the season.

"If you asked me: ‘Would I prefer an away start and a home game last?’ then I would – I would like to finish at home.

"I just hope the fixtures are sensible and we don’t have to travel to places like Morecambe or Darlington on a Tuesday night."
