JEPSON: "We want to finish the season with as many points as possible"

Gillingham v Port Vale

GILLINGHAM go into Saturday's match against Port Vale looking for their fourth straight home win and manager Ronnie Jepson doesn't want his players to drop their commitment levels.

His side secured their League 1 survival by beating Chesterfield 1-0 last week but the manager said it is vital they finish the season on a high.

He said: "The danger is that people just go through the motions but we owe it to the fans to make sure that doesn't happen.

"We want to finish the season with as many points as possible and try to carry some form into the next campaign."
