Gillingham’s FA Cup match against Aston Villa has now sold out.
The last of the remaining few tickets were sold this morning guaranteeing a capacity crowd for the third round tie on January 4.
A crowd of 11,000 is expected for the match - a gate not matched since 11,418 fans crammed in to watch Gillingham’s Championship clash with West Ham in September 2002.
A spokesman for the club said: “The last remaining tickets were snapped up very quickly this morning. It’s a few seasons since we last had a full house at Priestfield and I’m sure the supporters will generate a fantastic atmosphere for the match”
Fans who can’t make the game will be able to watch live on ITV. Kick-off is at 1.30pm.
