Gillingham have released first year professional Danny Walder after agreeing to settle the remainder of his one-year contract.

Walder, who lives on the Isle of Sheppey, has recently been on loan with Ryman League side Ramsgate after failing to break into Gillingham’s first team.

Fellow first year professional Rory Hill has also been offered a settlement.

Hill has been on loan with cash-strapped Blue Square Premier side Salisbury City.
