Gillingham reserves dropped two points in the Totesport.com Combination Central Division this afternoon, squandering a 2-0 first half lead in drawing 2-2 with Aldershot at Priestfield.

The Gills made the perfect start to the game, scoring twice in the first 10 minutes.

Captain Charlie Howard scored the first with thunderous drive from 25 yards, before Albert Jarrett's corner was forced home by Lewis Smith following Rhys Coleman's initial header.

Aldershot created a few chances of their own, but it took until the 55th minute for them to score when Danny Hylton fired home.

Marvin Morgan's header completed the visitors' comeback on 74 minutes, before a final opportunity for the home side was blasted into the Rainham End by Millwall trialist Gary Bowes.
