GILLINGHAM FC have announced two changes to their pre-season schedule (Steve Jackson writes).

The club has decided that while they are on tour in France they will play French Division 1 side Lille on Friday, July 18. This is as well as the fixture with RC Lens at Le Touquet two days earlier.

It means that the Dover game planned for July 19 has been postponed until August 2, kick-off 3pm.

Gillingham pre-season frendlies: Wed, July 9 Folkestone (a) 7.45pm. Sat, July 12 St Albans (a) 2pm, Wed, July Lens 16 (a) 7pm, Fri, July 18 Lille (a) kick off TBA, Tues, July 22 Southend (a) 7.45pm, Sat, July 26 Gravesend & Northfleet (a) 3pm, Tues, July 29 Canvey Island (a) 7.30pm, Sat, Aug 2 Dover Athletic (a) 3pm.

Meanwhile, from today Gillingham fans will be able to see the design of the club's new home, away and change strips in the megastore section of the official website.

There is no release date at present telling when the new merchandise will be available to order on-line or buy from the club shop.
