Gillingham have signed Charlton youngster Josh Wright for the remainder of the season.
The 19-year-old midfielder has played three games for the Addicks this season and earlier on had a spell on loan with Brentford.
Wright recently played for Charlton’s reserve team against Gillingham.
The deal expires on May 2 but the Gills have the option to extend the loan if they are in the end-of-season League 2 play-offs.
Wright could make his debut against Brentford on Saturday, a team who he made six appearances for between September and October.
On his return to Charlton, Wright made his first senior start for the club in the Championship game against Burnley and also featured in the game against Barnsley and the FA Cup victory over Norwich.
Last season Wright won the young player of the year award at Barnet after playing over 30 games for the League 2 side.
