Gillingham v Chester City
Striker Simeon Jackson is rated 50-50 for Saturday's visit of Chester City to Priestfield.
Jackson missed Gillingham’s 2-2 draw against Notts County on Tuesday with an ankle injury but manager Mark Stimson is hoping to welcome back the striker, who has scored four goals in his last two games.
Stimson said: "I think Simeon will help us because of the form he is in."
The Gills boss believes Jackson’s current form could attract other clubs during the January transfer window.
"It’s one of those where you want him to score because it’ll get us near the top of the league," he said.
"But in the back of your mind you are thinking if he does crack it then he could end up with 15 goals before Christmas. Anyone who gets that at his age is going to impress people.
"That could be a major concern for us because if you watch him at the moment he’d definitely get involved if he was at a Championship club."
Defender Simon King is expected to be available after recovering from illness, but Mark Bentley is still sidelined after his appeal against a three-match ban for his red card at Bradford failed.
