GILLINGHAM have completed the signing of Clint Easton on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old left-sided midfielder has put pen to paper on a one-year contract with the option of another year.

He made more than 50 appearances for Wycombe Wanderers under former Priestfield caretaker manager John Gorman last season.

The capture of Easton ends a week that saw the departure of both goalkeepers Jason Brown and Paul Crichton on a positive note.
