Gillingham will face Championship side Birmingham City at Priestfield as part of their summer pre-season programme.

Alex McLeish’s side will visit Kent on Saturday, July 26 for the 3pm kick-off.

Tickets for the match cost £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

The Gills have also added a trip to Essex side Aveley, who play in Ryman League, Division 1 North, to their schedule.

Their current schedule is as follows: July 17 v Faversham (a), July 19 v Grays (a), July 23 v Ipswich Town XI (h), July 26 v Birmingham (h), July 26 v Folkestone (a), July 29 v Dover (a), July 30 v Aveley (a), August 2 v Thurrock (a).
