Unwanted Gillingham winger Aaron Brown has moved to Lincoln City.

The 28-year-old had no future with the Gills and last week manager Mark Stimson admitted that Brown didn’t want to play under him and the player's contract was terminated over the weekend.

Brown had a trial match for Lincoln last season but the League 2 side made no further move. The player has now agreed a one year deal for Peter Jackson’s side after becoming a free agent.

Brown made 15 appearances for the Gills last season but his last league match was back in November of last year.

The midfielder links up with Iffy Onuora once more, after he was instrumental in signing him for Gillingham last summer when he was first team coach under Ronnie Jepson. Onuora is now assistant manager with the Lincolnshire side.

Brown moves to Sincil Bank just a week after David Graham moved to the club on a six month deal. The striker played for Gillingham last season but his contract was cancelled in January.
