KENT'S cricket supporters enjoyed one of their one best days for years as the county snatched a narrow victory over Gloucestershire in the Twenty20 Cup final at Edgbaston.
Spitfires seamer Ryan McLaren was the man of the match. He took a hat-trick to help limit the Gladiators to 146-8 off 20 overs before Kent edged home with three balls to spare.
Darren Stevens held his nerve to rescue the spluttering Spitfires at the end with 30 not out off 21 balls. He hit the winning runs off a no-ball.
