GILLINGHAM assistant manager John Gorman is one of the names being linked with the vacant manager’s job at Wycombe Wanderers.

The former England number two had a brief spell in charge at the League Two club last season.

Gorman has stressed he is happy at the Priestfield, but has not ruled out the possibility of applying for other management jobs should the right one become available.

He said last week: “I’m happy here, but if clubs are interested in me and come knocking Andy (Hessenthaler) understands. I’m not under contract and am entitled to consider my options.”
