Welling v Fisher (kick off, 1pm)

ELLIS Green looks set to return to the starting line-up as Welling host Fisher on Boxing Day at Park View Road.

Green has served a five-week ban for a red card in Sunday football but, with the Wings suffering an injury crisis, should go straight into the team for the Fisher clash.

It will be a welcome boost for Welling boss Neil Smith, who is without defenders Stuart Nethercott and Leon Solomon, midfielders Orlando Smith and Sam Keevill, along with striker Omari Coleman.

Smith said: "It's a busy period for us, and an important one.

"I'm not going to run away from the challenge, I'm working hard on and off the pitch for the cause.

"We've all got to pull together, the fans need to get behind the team on Boxing Day and I'm sure the players will respond. If they can back the players then I know we can get three points."
