KENT snooker star Gerard Greene will be up against Steve Davis at the World Championships finals at The Crucible next month.

Greene, 32, from Rainham, was paired with the former six-time world champion in the draw after defeating Paul Davies in the qualifiers 10-6.

Should Greene make it through, he will face either Chris Small or Shaun Murphy in round two.
