Grimsby 1 - Gillingham 2

Goals from Chris Hope and Marlon King earned Gillingham a deserved first away win in the league at Grimsby on Tuesday.

Hope scored his second goal in four days when he headed home Ty Gooden's 17th minute free kick.

King struck his eighth goal of the season when he increased Gillingham's lead in the 54th minute with a superb finish.

Substitute Bradley Allen pulled back a goal for Grimsby in the 76th minute but the final scoreline flattered the home side.
