KENT snooker ace Katie Henrick won the WLBSA ranking event at Cambridge on Saturday.

The 27-year-old, from Bickley, pocketed £180 and is now provisionally ranked world number two after beating Orpington’s June Banks 3-1 in the East Anglian Championship final.

She said: “I’m really pleased. Winning the competition was something I wanted to do this season, and it took me up to number two.”
