GILLINGHAM manager Andy Hessenthaler has confirmed the club's interest in 22-year-old former Luton striker Liam George who will be arriving at Priestfield for a trial after Christmas.

Meanwhile, reserve team striker Mark Lovell has joined Dr Martens League, Eastern Division club St Leonards on a temporary transfer.
