MATT HOLLAND is set to make his comeback from long-term injury for Charlton reserves at home to Crystal Palace reserves tonight at Stonebridge Road.

Injuries have restricted the club's former captain to one senior appearance as a substitute at Coventry on September 29 and a full game in the Carling Cup, third round tie at Luton on September 25.

Holland needed a knee operation after sustaining a knee injury in a pre-season friendly at Aldershot which was followed by a calf injury picked up in training.

"Barring any late setbacks, I hope to play for the reserves on Monday night," said Holland.

But defender Chris Powell is unlikely to be risked as he has not fully recovered since sustaining a knee injury at Wolverhampton on October 20.

Palace are likely to include former Dartford winger Dave Martin who moved to Selhurst Park in January for £25,000.

Tonight's match in the Pontin's Holidays Combination Central kicks off at 7pm.
