Charlton v Coventry
Jonjo Shelvey will make his home league debut for Charlton in Sunday's season finale against Coventry.
Manager Alan Pardew admitted the 16-year-old midfielder's name was the first on the team-sheet following his impressive debut at Barnsley.
Pardew said: "After last week's performance he deserved to be out there. So his name was first on the team-sheet and hopefully, who knows, he could stay on it for years to come."
Maidstone youngster Scott Wagstaff, who also made his league debut as a second half substitute at Barnsley, is again likely to be among the substitutes.
After the club's sharp decline in the second half of the season, Charlton will be wanting to round off a disappointing campaign on a winning note against opponents desperate for some reward to ensure Championship survival.
Since the turn of the year, the Addicks' once bright promotion hopes have been derailed by only three league wins at The Valley. On Sunday they will seek amends in the hope of stimulating season ticket sales and an unacceptable bottom half finish.
"After the results against Queens Park Rangers and Barnsley we owe it to ourselves to finish strongly," said Pardew. "The fact that it’s a massive game for Coventry will make it difficult.
"The most important thing is that we perform well and that we see green shoots of recovery. I want to see some indication of what’s important for next year and the players’ performances will be geared to next season."
Pardew has ruled out a lap of honour from his players at the final whistle. He explained: "A lap of honour would not be fair to our supporters or the players.
"At the end of the game I will instruct the players just to walk round and say thanks to the fans. And I will join them in doing that."
Midfielder Darren Ambrose misses the match after undergoing surgery this week on a groin strain.
