Gillingham 0 Luton 1
Gillingham remain searching for their first win of the season after a home defeat to Luton on Saturday.
The Gills were trailing as early as the fourth minute, when Chris Martin broke into the box and found an unmarked Sam Parkin, who comfortably beat keeper Alan Julian to score what turned out to be the winner.
Making his debut for Gills at the back was Leigh Mills and he was given plenty to think about as Luton caused problems in the first half.

The Gills should have made more of their numerous set-pieces in the opening 45 minutes and it wasn?t until the 43rd minute when they got close to equalising, after Mark McCammon headed Barry Fuller?s cross just wide.
McCammon came even closer early in the second half when his downward header was cleared off the line by Sol Davis.
Simeon Jackson was getting no luck and shots within seconds of each other were saved superbly by Luton?s keeper Dean Brill. At the other end Alan Julian had to be alert to divert Martin?s shot to safety as the game opened up.
The Gills dominated the latter stages but despite Gary Mulligan?s inclusion into the front line the Luton goal remained unbreached.
Gills manager Mark Stimson said: "We had chances to score but if you dont score you don?t win football matches and that was the difference.
"Parkin scored a great goal and that?s why he?s on such a salary. We went in disappointed at 1-0 and tried to stick to our game plan.
"We had three or four chances with a scramble but Luton are fighting for their lives and their defenders did their job properly and got in front of the goal.
"I can understand that the fans are getting frustrated but if they look back at the game, were we really that bad? In the end myself as manager and the players will take it on the chin.
"You shouldn?t lose at home and we?ve just got to move forward now."
