Sheppey Sunday League Division 1 leaders White Horse confronted former title favourites White Colts Athletic and beat them 3-0.

Goals from Gary Kingsnorth, Ian Humphrey and Bradley Pearce enabled the side to move eight points clear at the top with a game in hand over Red Lion.

Realistically, only Holm Sports look to have any chance of catching them, though they dropped two valuable points after a resurgent Leydown held them to a 1-1 draw.

Shaun Sullivan netted for Holm but Gary Ramsey secured a share of the points for Leysdown.

The majority of the Junior Cup quarter-finals beat the freeze and Sittingbourne Lions booked their semi-final place with a 5-0 win over Park Regis Reserves.

Scoring the goals for the Lions were Alex Hix (2), Tristan Hix, Anthony Poitner and James Kent were on target for Lions.
