Horse on course for title

White Horse’s relentless quest for back-to-back titles took a big leap forward on Sunday.

Goals from Paul Davis, Steve Collar, Jack Brown and Bradley Pearce earned the Division 1 leaders a 4-0 win over second-placed Holm Sports.

The victory was made more significant with challengers Milton & Fulston losing 3-0 to Red Lion.

Matt Whiting opened the scoring with a chip and Chris Dolan made amends for an earlier miss from the penalty spot by adding the second. Whiting ensured the win for Lion with a late goal from close range.

Dan Servante banged in four goals for Leysdown in their 7-1 demolition of Park Regis. Kam Singh (2) and Craig Street added the other goals for the home side.
