Ice men heading for play-offs?

INVICTA Dynamos team manager Ken Drake believes the ice hockey club should take "every game as it comes" in an effort to achieve play-off glory.

The Gillingham-based side continued their play-off campaign with a 9-4 win away to Basingstoke Buffalo on Saturday.

This was followed by an 8-2 home victory over Streatham Redskins on Sunday.

Drake said recent results had been good and added: "We scored most of our goals in the third period which is just the way our games seem to go. There’s a good team spirit and that’s what gets us through sometimes."

This Sunday, a full-strength Mos squad will face Basingstoke at the Gillingham Ice Bowl. The Dynamos will be hoping for another good performance after beating Streatham at home.
