Ice men keen to reverse slump

THE preparations by Medway-based ice hockey team Invicta Dynamos for Sunday's game against Swindon Lynx are going well and player-coach Andy Hannah has the luxury of an almost fully fit squad. The exception is defenceman Carl Greenhous who will be attending hospital again on Monday for a check up on his knee.

This follows an operation two weeks ago to remove a loose fragment of ligament from his knee. If all goes well at the check up it is hoped he will be fit to return to action in a week or two.

Hannah said: "We've found ourselves in a bit of a mid-season slump, taking just three points from our last three games, but we're working our way out and everything seems to be coming together again."
